Bates Ranch House is thrilled to congratulate newlyweds, Caroline and Colin. Saturday was a beautiful afternoon and the perfect backdrop for Caroline and Colin to celebrate their marriage with family and friends. Their ceremony and reception were deeply personal as the father of the bride wrote a song for the couple to the tune of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” while Caroline and Colin rapped their thank you speech to California knows how to party – AWESOME!
In house wedding coordinator, Angelina Speier said “It was truly one of my favorite weddings so far. It wasn’t over done or over the top. Everyone in both families helped to make this wedding perfect. It was a fun and lively crowd whom all were grateful to be there to witness two people, that were perfect for each other, tie the knot (or in their case, braid 3 strands).”
DJ’s catering served up teriyaki steak and mango chicken, mac n cheese, veggies and salad (all of which were delicious) and instead of a cake, the mid-west couple had a Strawberry shortcake table, where guests could pile on strawberries and homemade whip cream atop delicious pound cake.
DJ Aaron Hillier of A Night to Remember DJs kept the partying going and created a stunning outdoor reception with string lights overhead and custom color uplights, highlighting the trees and classic architecture of the home.
The whole day was meticulously and creatively captured by photographer Julie Shuford.
Caroline and Colin, enjoy your honeymoon and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
